Resources and new ideas for the autistic adult community in the New York City metro area.

Societal (e.g. advocacy) groups led by members of the Autistic Peer Leadership Group (APLeG)

By "societal" groups, we mean groups that concern themselves with what's going on in society as a whole.

In the future, this will likely include at least one disability rights group or other advocacy group. We will start with just discussion groups, and then eventually create one or more advocacy/activist groups.

  1. Note to any members of the already-existing Autistic Advocates of NYC group who might happen to read this: Feel free to contact me, the author of this website. I have not contacted you because your organization's sole point of public contact is a Facebook page, and I refuse to use Facebook. See Warnings Against Online Harassment for some of the reasons why.
