Hopefully forthcoming women's support group

:  I hope soon to launch a support group (via text-based chat, until we can meet in-person) for autistic and simmilarly neurodivergent women (18+). Trans / non-binary / marginalized genders welcome. Autism self-dx OK.

If interested, please contact me to let me know what days and times would be possible/convenient for you, and then correspond with me for a bit to tell me a little about yourself and to discuss your and my thoughts about what you and II would want a support group for autistic women to be like, and our thoughts about the autistic community more generally.

Still waiting for pandemic to end...

:  Seems we're back to full indoor mask mandates, due to the "delta variant." So it doesn't look like we can safely meet in-person during the next two months, alas.

"Nonviolent Communication" (NVC) tutorial list added

July 7, 2021:  A list of tutorials on "Nonviolent Communication" (NVC) has been added.

I've tentatively put it in the section on "Autistic-friendly social skills," but it should probably go elsewhere eventually, because it's not actually something most autistic people can learn easily. I recommend it more for trusted NT friends and family members of autistic people than for autistic people ourselves, most of whom I think would probably be better off learning other styles of assertiveness and active listening.
